A move into production saw Becky working on an investigation into the News of the World phone-hacking scandal before developing and producing a range of documentaries for BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Discovery Channel and National Geographic on subjects ranging from the financial crisis to the death penalty. More recently, Becky produced ‘Life and Death in Chicago’ for the BBC, looking at the escalating rate of shootings in America’s third biggest city, and a documentary about a rare form of dementia in Channel 4’s ‘Dealing With Dad’.

Becky has just directed her first film, a documentary for the BBC about the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in February 2018. The film follows 5 of the survivors in the immediate aftermath of the shooting and follows some of the students in their campaign for stricter gun control in America.

Raised by separate adoptive families within one hundred miles of each other, triplets Robert Shafran, Eddy Galland and David Kellman were oblivious to the fact they were identical brothers until a chance meeting brought them together, aged 19. Their astounding story became a worldwide sensation in the early 1980s. But even more incredible was the reason that led to their separation in the first place. This stranger-than-fiction documentary masterfully tells a story whose sanguine elements could not mitigate the gross injustice at its core.
